SOULTRAIN &#8211; sollte es werden.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Soul Train<\/b>&nbsp;ist eine&nbsp;US-amerikanische&nbsp;Fernsehsendung, die 1970 von dem Produzenten und Moderator&nbsp;Don Cornelius&nbsp;bei WCIU-TV, einem lokalen&nbsp;Chicagoer&nbsp;Fernsehsender, pr\u00e4sentiert und ab 1971 \u00fcber die&nbsp;Syndication&nbsp;landesweit w\u00f6chentlich am Sp\u00e4tnachmittag gesendet wurde.&nbsp;<i>Soul Train<\/i>&nbsp;war die erste amerikanische Show, die haupts\u00e4chlich ein schwarzes Publikum ansprach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In ihrer 35-j\u00e4hrigen Geschichte traten in der Show haupts\u00e4chlich&nbsp;Rhythm and Blues,&nbsp;Soul&nbsp;und&nbsp;Hip-Hop-K\u00fcnstler auf, aber auch&nbsp;Funk-,&nbsp;Jazz-,&nbsp;Disco- und&nbsp;Gospel-K\u00fcnstler sowie wei\u00dfe K\u00fcnstler wie&nbsp;David Bowie&nbsp;oder&nbsp;Elton John. Wichtigstes Element der Show waren die&nbsp;<i>Line-Dancer<\/i>, die zur Identit\u00e4t und Beliebtheit der Show beitrugen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Die Produktion wurde 2006 eingestellt, aber die Serie noch zwei weitere Jahre mit einer Wiederholungsserie,&nbsp;<i>The Best of Soul Train<\/i>, fortgesetzt. Die Sendung geh\u00f6rte \u00fcber drei Jahrzehnte zu den erfolgreichsten Fernsehsendereihen in den Vereinigten Staaten. Wegen der gesellschaftlichen Bedeutung und Ausstrahlung ist die Sendung mittlerweile zur TV-Legende geworden.
